Who we are

Aurabella Properties L.L.C. ("Aurabella", "we", "us") is a real estate brokerage licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, registered with the Dubai Land Department under Office Registration Number (ORN) 38886.

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy, which means we decide why and how it is used.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to anyone who gives us their details through our websites, our landing pages, our downloadable guides, our contact forms, or who contacts us on WhatsApp.

We market to buyers living outside the UAE as well as inside it, including in the United Kingdom. Where the law of your own country gives you stronger rights than UAE law does, we apply the stronger standard. If you are in the UK or the EEA, that means we handle your data to the standard of the UK General Data Protection Regulation.

What we collect, and when

When you download one of our guides we ask for your first name, your email address and your phone or WhatsApp number. We also record which guide you asked for, which page you asked for it on, and the date.

When you send us a message through a contact form we collect the details you enter — your name, your email address, your phone number and the content of your message.

When you message us on WhatsApp we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and the content of your messages. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and your use of it is also governed by Meta's own terms and privacy policy.

When you simply visit the page our form provider sets cookies in order to run the form and to remember your cookie choices. We do not operate advertising or tracking cookies of our own on our landing pages.

We do not ask for, and do not want, financial information, passport or Emirates ID details, or any other identity documents through any form on our website. If a transaction reaches the stage where those are genuinely required, they are collected separately and through a secure channel, and you will be told so at the time.

Who can see your data

Inside Aurabella. Your details are visible to Aurabella staff who need them — principally the broker who handles your enquiry and the people who administer our customer system.

Our service providers. We use third parties to run the system, and they process your data only on our instructions:

  • HighLevel (Go High Level / LeadConnector) — our customer relationship system. It hosts our forms, stores contact records and sends our emails. Data is held on its infrastructure, which is located outside the UAE and outside the UK.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — where you choose to message us there.
  • Google — our pages load a typeface from Google's font service, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other brokerages, developers or any other third party for their own marketing. If a particular enquiry ever required us to pass your details to a developer — for example to register you against an off-plan unit — we would ask you first.

Transfers out of the UAE and the UK. Because our customer system is hosted abroad, your data is transferred internationally. Where that involves data belonging to people in the UK or the EEA, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place for those transfers.

How long we keep it

Two years from your last meaningful contact with us — the last time you opened an email, replied, messaged us or made an enquiry. After that we delete or anonymise your record.

Two exceptions: if you become a client, we keep what we must for as long as the law requires a licensed brokerage to keep transaction records; and if you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep the minimum needed to make sure we do not contact you again by mistake.

Your rights

Whatever country you are in, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it for marketing, which we will always do;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • give it to you or another provider in a portable form;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave.

Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not make it difficult.

If you are not happy with how we handled it, you can complain to us first, and then to a regulator. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. In the United Arab Emirates, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority is the current point of contact for data protection matters.

Cookies

Our landing pages do not run advertising or analytics cookies of our own. The forms embedded in our pages are provided by HighLevel and set cookies needed to operate the form and to record your cookie choice. Your browser settings can block or delete cookies, though a blocked cookie may stop a form from submitting properly.

Children

Our services are for adults buying property. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we hold a child's details, email us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant and we hold your email address, we will tell you.

What this policy is not

This policy explains how we handle your data. It is not legal, financial, tax or immigration advice, and nothing on our websites or in our guides should be read as such.
